Strategic planning is a task that department leaders are asked to do by college administration, but how can that task be turned into a meaningful source of vision and practice for your department? Thinking strategically is important given new and continuing challenges, including declining enrollments and funding as well as pressures to consolidate programs and departments. This session recognizes the necessity of strategic planning and aims to generate and inspire practices to build and maintain resilient departments.
