Member Vote to Approve AAG Constitution and Bylaws in July
During the AAG Business Meeting on March 23, 2003, AAG Executive Director Gary Langham announced that AAG members would be asked to vote on amendments to the AAG Constitution and Bylaws. The ballot will be sent electronically to members in early July.
The current AAG Constitution and Bylaws requires changes to bring it into compliance with current legal standards, including updated descriptions of AAG leadership roles. The current documents have been in effect for decades and the AAG Council has voted to approve these amendments to modernize our governance practices and enable AAG to become a more nimble organization. Members who would like to receive a review copy of the proposed changes may send a request to membership@aag.org.
