Kelsey Taylor Interns at AAG for Spring Semester

[media-credit id=2 align=”alignright” width=”100″]Taylor_Kelsey_2014mug-web[/media-credit]Kelsey Taylor is a junior pursing a B.A. in environmental studies and philosophy at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Her interests include physical geography, environmental philosophy, sustainability and existentialism. After graduating, she is interested in working for a governmental or non-profit organization on issues related to sustainability and environmental policy to gain some experience in the field before attending graduate school. With her degrees, she hopes to follow a career path that will allow her to create and improve sustainable practices through environmental policy and regulation.

As an intern at the AAG this spring, she has been working with the MyCOE/SERVIR sustainable development program to help strengthen the use of geography and geospatial technology in developing regions, as well as several projects and workshops in preparation for the 2014 AAG Annual Meeting in Tampa.

Also, in her spare time, she enjoys rock climbing.
