Objective: This research seeks to revive habitat of medium to large mammals lost due to suburban development by finding and mapping fragments that still exist for a conservation plan for humans to coexist with the species.  The project in particular seeks to elaborate vegetation maps and land use maps within the research zone to compare with transformations observed during the study period, to quantify the loss of vegetation cover, to calculate the deforestation and habitat loss, and to identify persistent habitats for the management plan.
