MyCOE Steering Committee Is Exploring Program Options

• Strengthening existing programs by supporting incorporation of youth involvement, geographic learning, or sustainable development
• Supplementing existing resources to address geography national education standards
• Developing a new set of focused, appropriate, and useful resources for posting on the Web site
• Strengthening the existing network of mentors and experts on sustainable development
• Supporting additional presentation venues
• University level capacity building in the areas of geographic learning and GIS
• Strengthening university-to-university linkages, those with other WSSD Type II partnerships, and other programs
• Translating primary outreach materials into other languages
• Facilitating interorganizational partnerships within the alliance
• Conducting activities that contribute to the UN Millenium Development Goals.
