Students' Projects Showcased at 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development

During the run–up to the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD), the partnership solicited student projects for display at the summit in Johannesburg, South Africa. From the more than 200 student projects from 27 countries submitted, a high–level review panel selected 10 MyCOE projects for display at the summit. All are included within the Project Showcase 2002 Gallery, highlighted in green.

These projects demonstrated students’ enhanced awareness of the economic, social, and environmental challenges faced by communities and countries around the world and the geographic tools available to address them.
