Cryosphere Specialty Group

Welcome to the Cryosphere Specialty Group (CrSG) of the Association of American Geographers (AAG). The CrSG is home to a diverse group of geographers (physical and human) that examine the cryosphere from a multiplicity of perspectives. The CrSG recognizes the talent and accomplishments of both student members and senior scientists annually through the conferment of the R.S. Tarr and Francois Emile Matthes Awards, respectively. We ecourage interdisciplinary research endeavors and promote communication among individuals and groups within and outisde of the AAG.
