                         Coastal and Marine Specialty Group

The Coastal and Marine Geography Specialty Group (COMA) builds community among geographers who have interests in the oceans and on and near coasts. We are students, professors, and non-academics sharing knowledge from our work and from a wide variety of scales from millimeter movements of sand grains on a beach to erosion/deposition changes on coastlines of hundreds of kilometers. Coastal and Marine Geography spans the human/physical divide in geography; members of our group study topics from tourism to physics and biogeography. We welcome geographers with interests and research overlapping into the coastal and marine realms. 2010 AAG ANNUAL MEETING April 14-18, 2010 – Washington, DC Abstracts Accepted August 10 - October 28 A reminder that in order to upgrade quality and decreased the quantity of presentations the AAG will strictly limit 2 presentations per person (see newsletter).
