Hundreds of large industrial enterprises operate within the Ivankovskoye reservoir basin, which supplies drinking water to the city of Moscow. Two students from the Konakovo Branch of the Russian International Academy of Tourism created a map of the watershed, identified threats to water quality, and discussed sources of contamination within their study area. They recommended that the environmental consequences of industry be addressed.
