to achieve greater depth and relevance in reporting, with a focus on current
news topics, including election mapping, and cutting-edge media applications.
Included are seminars and hands-on demonstrations of new GIS software,
practical satellite observations of earth, and visual storytelling. The
conference will also open new networking opportunities with experts in
environmental matters, cartography, human rights, geography, politics
and elections, news media design, crime mapping, taxes and infrastructure
issues, and homeland security applications, among others. |
