The United Nations

With headquarters in midtown Manhattan, the United Nations is one of the world’s most important international organizations. This special track of sessions will address the UN’s multifaceted work around the world, including its efforts to promote development, provide peacekeeping, and address humanitarian needs. The track will begin Friday morning and run through Sunday morning. The AAG Atlas Award Ceremony honoring Mary Robinson will be held at 7:00 pm on Saturday, February 25, and should be of special importance to those interested in this particular theme.
