The Arab World Geographer 
The AWG is an international peer-reveiwed professional journal devoted to advancing geographical knowledge pertaining principally (though not exclusively) to the Arab World. It is integrative in approach, and especially oriented towards the relevance of applied research to policy. It provides for rapid publication of original research  papers, reports, and reviews dealing with all aspects of the human environment in the lands of the Arab World as interpreted by human and physical geographers.

Center for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE)
CEDARE works to empower all sectors of society, especially women and youth, to drive environmentally sustainable development in the Middle East, North Africa, and Mediterranean region.

Regional Organisation for the Conservation of the Environment of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden (PERSGA) 
PERSGA, the Regional Organization for the Conservation of the Environment of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, is an intergovernmental body dedicated to the conservation of the coastal and marine environments found in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aqaba, Gulf of Suez, Suez Canal, and Gulf of Aden surrounding the Socotra Archipelago and nearby waters. PERSGA’s member states include: Djibouti, Egypt, Jordan, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.

IRAN
Geological Survey of Iran (GSI)
The GSI was established in 1962, through a special fund project of the United Nations. The GSI is authorized to carry out geological and mineral investigations throughout the country, to collect results of activities performed in this respect, to establish interrelationships and coordination between such activities and to prepare, complete, and publish geological maps of Iran.

JORDAN
Jordan Soils & Land Management Web Portal
This website is the product of a project funded by the International Arid Lands Consortium to provide access to soils and land management information for Jordan. The site's purpose is to make scarce resources available on the Web to support agricultural and environmental education and to raise awareness of fragile desert lands.

LEBANON
Lebanese Agricultural Research Institute - LARI
LARI conducts applied and basic scientific research for the development and advancement of the agricultural sector in Lebanon. In addition, the Institute keeps close ties to the farmers and develops research activities aimed at solving their problems.

SAUDI ARABIA
Saudi Geographical Society

This scholarly organization serves as a scientific center for cooperation among geographical professionals. It publishes journals, organizes meetings, and carries out research.

TUNISIA
Association of Tunisian Geographers
This scientific and professional organization publishes journals, organizes meetings and in general promotes the study of geography in Tunisia.

Arava Institute for Environmental Studies (AIES)
The Arava Institute is a regional center for environmental leadership. By encouraging environmental cooperation between peoples, the Arava Institute is working towards peace and sustainable development on a regional and global scale. The Institute is home to academic programs and carries out programs in research and public involvement.

Association of Agricultural Institutions in the Near East and North Africa (AARINENA)
AARINENA’s mission is to contribute to the enhancement of agricultural and rural development in the West Asia North Africa (WANA) Region. AARINENA works to improve self-reliance in food and agriculture, and to raise the nutritional well-being and overall welfare of the people of the WANA Region while sustaining and further improving the productive capacity of the natural resources base.

International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA)
With its main research station and offices based in Aleppo, Syria, ICARDA works through a network of partnerships with national, regional and international institutions, universities, non-governmental organizations and ministries in the developing world; and with advanced research institutes in industrialized countries.

Middle East Desalination Research Centre (MEDRC) 
MEDRC is a Center of Excellence in Desalination and Water  Reuse Technology established in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman in 1996. The mission of MEDRC is to contribute to the achievement of peace and stability in the Middle East and North Africa by promoting and supporting the use of desalination to satisfy the needs of the people of this region for available, affordable, clean fresh water for human use and economic development. This is done through the advancement of desalination technology, education in the technology and training in its use, technology transfer, technical assistance, and building cooperation between nations to form the joint projects and international relationships necessary to meet the needs for fresh water.

Middle East Seismological Forum (MESF)
MESF is a Non-Profit Scientific Cyber Forum that provides a One-Stop Web Source for authoritative earthquake information on the Middle Eastern Region’s seismicity, seismologists and ongoing scientific activities for a better interaction and integration with the international seismological communities.
