Contributions of Physical Geography to Sustainable Development
These specially highlighted sessions will focus on ways in which physical geography is being applied to interdisciplinary challenges across the spectrum of sustainable development. Themes will include but are not limited to: climate change, urbanization, and community/economic planning; natural disaster reduction; biofuels and renewable energy; forest, agricultural, and marine environmental management.
