Social Justice, Media, and Human Rights Track at upcoming AAG Annual Meeting

A special track at the AAG Annual Meeting will focus on how media coverage, social media, and technology impact social justice movements and human rights abuses around the world. Notable speakers include Nicholas Kristof of the New York Times, Salil Shetty of Amnesty International, and Ivan Simonovic of the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland and a world-renowned advocate for human rights, will be awarded the AAG Atlas Award.
