While writing his dissertation on lake sediment and fire reconstruction, Kyle became distracted by his developing interest in wine.
Today he is the research and outreach coordinator for the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board. A recent profile published by his home campus, the University of Denver, describes how he turned his hobby into a career and a new dissertation topic.
