Spotlight profile: Lesley-Ann Dupigny-Giroux, University of Vermont

Lesley-Ann Dupigny-Giroux is an Associate Professor of Geography at the University of Vermont. For the past 16 years, Dupigny-Giroux has also acted as the official Climatologist for the State of Vermont, where she teaches students about weather and climate while using satellite data and weather stations to research climate patterns. Originally from Trinidad, Dupigny-Giroux received her Ph.D. from McGill University in 1996, but the data she tracks goes back many years prior.
