Kansas State Alumni Fellows Program Honors its First Geographer

The Alumni Fellows Program at Kansas State University College has recognized Patricia Solís, AAG Director of Outreach and Strategic Initiatives, for her distinguished career service.
Since the program's inception in 1983, the university has honored 268 alumni from its more than 168,000 graduates. Solís is the first geographer to be recognized within this distinctive group. She will visit the campus Feb. 20-22, 2013, to receive the honor during the 30th annual event, which is sponsored by the Dean's Council, the President's Office and the Alumni Association. While on campus, Solís will meet with students and faculty in classroom and informal settings to share her professional experiences.
