Air pollution is a serious problem, threatening Hong Kong and neighboring regions. A team of students from the Cheung Chau Government Secondary School in Hong Kong collected data on air pollution levels for different areas of the city during 2000 and 2002 and mapped their findings. They proposed several recommendations for improving air quality, including better urban planning, additional mass transit options, and more environmental education programs.
