The National Transportation Safety Board has announced that it will hold a two-day public conference on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in Transportation Safety. To be held December 4-5, 2012, the meeting will bring researchers and practitioners in the fields of transportation safety and GIS together to discuss how GIS data, technologies, and techniques can improve transportation safety across all modes of transportation.  This conference is open to the public and registration is free.
