When: April 23, 2013
The Geospatial Grid Contest is a competition to encourage and reward research in the application of geospatial sciences and how geospatial technologies can be applied to improve the structure and performance of the electrical grid. Graduate or undergraduate students in the United States with ideas on geospatial applications for the electrical grid are encouraged to submit a research paper by April 23, 2013. Completed submissions will be evaluated by a panel of GE and industry experts.
The author(s) of the winning research paper will receive $5,000 USD and will get the opportunity to present his/her work at a major geospatial conference.
