When: October 31 - November 3, 2013

Faculty in the environmental humanities at the University of Washington are organizing a regional conference with a set of interrelated objectives: 1) sharing research across fields and disciplines among environmental humanities scholars, 2) taking the first step toward organizing an ongoing regional network of faculty and programs in the environmental humanities, 3) planning for future activities that such a network might undertake.
The event is co-sponsored by the College of the Environment, the Center for West European Studies, the Departments of English, French/ Italian, Germanics, the Walker Ames Endowment, and the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Washington.
