GIScience, Cyberinfrastructure, and Social Media

This special track will feature sessions on GIScience and cyberinfrastructure research focused on new developments in these rapidly changing areas. Topics will include real-time GIS, high-performance distributed computing with large spatial datasets, the geospatial web, and multi-scale spatio-temporal analysis. Also included are sessions that address the integration of GIScience and social media in the democratization of information.
