During the first (2003-2006) and second (2007-2011) phases of the CGGE project, the CGGE modules were tested in geography classrooms in more than a dozen countries for class. For these trials researchers gathered data to analyze the instructional process and assess the extent to which the modules achieved their stated learning objectives for students. In addition, the project developed a methodology for collecting data over successive academic years to gauge the "difference" made by international collaborative learning on shaping the perspectives that students have about world geographical problems.
The project bibliography below is an up-to-date list of research publications stemming from the CGGE project. Information from this research was used to revise the modules and prepare them for full-scale dissemination.
As the work of the CGGE proceeds into new phases, researchers will continue to report project outcomes through the AAG and in cooperation with our many partner organizations.
