June 6-10, 2021 - 2021 Symposium on Hurricane Risk in a Changing Climate

The 2020 Symposium on Hurricane Risk in a Changing Climate has been postponed until 2021. Those who registered for 2020 and did not cancel are automatically registered for 2021 so no action is necessary unless you need to change your abstract. Online registration for the 2021 Symposium on Hurricane Risk in a Changing Climate in Key Largo, Florida (June 6th-12th, with an optional networking day and check out on 12th, 2020) is now available! The main objective of this symposium is to foster communication among scientists, engineers, and practitioners in order to increase understanding of and better ways to deal with tropical cyclone risks.

The 2021 REP Conference hosts are Morgan State University and the University of Baltimore. March 18-19, 2021 - 52nd Annual South Dakota State Geography Convention

The 52nd Geography Convention will be held Thursday, March 18th through Friday, March 19th, 2021. The goal of the convention is to gather current students, alumni of the Geography Department, academic and applied geographers from around the region and share knowledge and enthusiasm for geography through professional presentations, discussions, and social activities. Events will be in Zoom.
