Very good source for impacts-related information, including a link
to the National Drought Mitigation Center. Also check out the
predictions page, including the 6-10 day forecast.

for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN) World Data
This site provides a vast amount of information on the human dimensions
of global change. Their mission is to make existing data available
to researchers, decision makers, educators, and the public.
There are interactive maps, searchable data sets, and an enormous
amount of related information for both human and physical geography.
