SWG Pruitt National Dissertation Fellowships
The Society of Woman Geographers (SWG) sponsors a national dissertation fellowship program for women in geography and geographical aspects of allied fields funded by the Evelyn L. Pruitt Fund. The SWG invites applications from women PhD candidates for the annual Pruitt National Fellowship for Dissertation Research Competition.
SWG expects to make two awards of up to $15,000 for 2007-08. Applications are due by February 1, 2007 and awards will be announced by April 15, 2007.

SWG Pruitt National Minority Fellowships
The Society of Woman Geographers (SWG) sponsors a national fellowship program for women in geography and geographical aspects of allied fields funded by the Evelyn L. Pruitt Fund. The SWG invites applications also for the Pruitt National Minority Fellowship Program.
Women who are members of a minority group and who have been admitted to and plan to enroll or are enrolled in a master’s program in geography or geographical aspects of an allied field are strongly encouraged to apply. It is expected that an award of $5,000 will be made for 2007-08. Applications are due by May 15, 2007. It is expected that the award will be announced by July 1, 2007.
