Arava Institute for Environmental Studies (AIES)
The Arava Institute is a regional center for environmental leadership. By encouraging environmental cooperation between peoples, the Arava Institute is working towards peace and sustainable development on a regional and global scale. The Institute is home to academic programs and carries out programs in research and public involvement.
Association of Agricultural Institutions in the Near East and North Africa (AARINENA)
AARINENA’s mission is to contribute to the enhancement of agricultural and rural development in the West Asia North Africa (WANA) Region. AARINENA works to improve self-reliance in food and agriculture, and to raise the nutritional well-being and overall welfare of the people of the WANA Region while sustaining and further improving the productive capacity of the natural resources base.
Center for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE)
CEDARE works to empower all sectors of society, especially women and youth, to drive environmentally sustainable development in the Middle East, North Africa, and Mediterranean region.
International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA)
With its main research station and offices based in Aleppo, Syria, ICARDA works through a network of partnerships with national, regional and international institutions, universities, non-governmental organizations and ministries in the developing world; and with advanced research institutes in industrialized countries.
Middle East Seismological Forum (MESF)
MESF is a Non-Profit Scientific Cyber Forum that provides a One-Stop Web Source for authoritative earthquake information on the Middle Eastern Region’s seismicity, seismologists and ongoing scientific activities for a better interaction and integration with the international seismological communities.
