DEVELOPING REGIONS MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM Spotlight: Middle East is an interactive clearinghouse designed to encourage collaboration and the exchange of information and ideas among geographers—and professionals in related disciplines—with a particular interest in the Middle East. We invite you to explore the resources found here, including contact information for universities, funding opportunities, and projects underway in the Middle East. Spotlight: Middle East will also spotlight news and events with a focus on geography in the region. To maintain a current and comprehensive source of information, we welcome submissions of relevant news and events.
Spotlight: Middle East is a part of the AAG’s Developing Regions Membership Program, a special initiative designed to foster increased international scholarly exchange. Geographers and professionals of related disciplines from and living in developing regions, with an income of US$25,000 or less per year are now eligible to join the AAG for the deeply discounted annual membership rate of $20.
