Using Geography and GIS: Geographers at Work

Geographers at Work was created as an ongoing series of profiles of geography graduates working in business, industry, and government to assist in answering the most frequently ask question, "What can I do with a degree in geography?" The series first appeared in the AAG Newsletter in 1992.

The expansion of the series is based on information obtained from phone interviews. Ms. Emilie Lorditch, a 1998 graduate in geography (B.S.) from The Pennsylvania State University, is the interviewer and editor of these new profiles. She currently is employed as a Science Writer at Raytheon Information Technology and Scientific Services, Greenbelt, Maryland.
